Bitumen Vertical Storage Tanks
CORMAC manufacture an extensive range of vertical bitumen emultion and special binder tanks in sizes ranging from 5m³ to 250m³ which can be heated by steam, gas, oil, electric, gas and thermal oil transfer. The tanks all come fully insulated with high density insulation normally 225mm thick giving a minimal heat loss thus, making our tanks very cost effective and energy efficient. The specification includes high and ultimate high audio visual alarms in response to the Refined Bitumen Association code of practice along with the recommended 10% additional capacity to reduce the possibility of any bitumen overflow. Cormac also offer a range of site built tanks for bulk storage in terminals and process plants. The site built tanks come in a range of sizes ranging from 200m³ to 10,000m³ and again can be heated by steam, thermal fluid oil, gas, direct oil fired and electricity. Vertical tanks are now the most popular of our extensive range as they save energy, are easy to maintain and take up minimal space on site.
